August 24th, 2022, Belfast, Northern Ireland - Irish Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy hosted a charity summer party in support of the Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke.
A successful charity summer party which was conducted on August 24th, 2024 by Cav. Philip White and Dame Yana Zakharchenko, on behalf of the Irish Delegation, raised an incredible £6,355 (€7,645) from donations in lieu of gifts for Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS).Â
The event gathered approx. 90 people over delicious BBQ and live jazz music by the Martello Jazz Band. Donations came through voluntary contributions, along with generous gifts from the Delegations of Canada and Lazio, as well as funds raised during an auction and a raffle held during the evening.
The raffle offered a range of vouchers for M&S, Amazon, and two local fine dining restaurants. The auction offered a range of unique items, among which:
Two original paintings by a renowned local artist Alan Quigley who has now begun to sell his art in the US
An overnight B&B stay in a 5-star hotel in Belfast and a city ride in a Rolls Royce
Two premium level seats in a popular concert venue in Dublin for a concert of choice
All items were sponsored by the local Northern Ireland businesses, in support of the NICHS.
